Once a year we award Seed Grants for the development or implementation of participatory Citizen Science projects. Teams of academic researchers from the University of Zurich or ETH Zurich and citizens can jointly submit their project ideas now until 2 March, 2025.
The Swiss Conference on Citizen Science and Participatory Research will take place on 5 and 6 June, 2025 at the University of Lausanne and will focus on the topic "Citizen science in action. Collaborations between civil society and academia". Contributions can be submitted until the end of November.
The Impact Working Group of the Society for Transdisciplinary and Participatory Research (GTPF) invites you to a digital discussion event on 21 October, 2024. Simon Denegri will critically address the topic of the multiple impacts of participatory research.
On 26 September, we hosted the Open House 2024. In addition to a brief input, exciting project pitches and various activities, the event also offered plenty of space for in-depth discussions and exchanges of experience.

Citizen Science Zurich held its General Assembly on 16 January, 2024. The team gave a review of the past year and an outlook for the upcoming year. In addition, 20 new members and one new member for the Board of Directors were confirmed.
