Globally, scholars are increasingly aware of the value and importance of open science. Open sciencecanrefer toa range ofpracticesfrompreregistrations,to publication of materials and data, open access publishing, and eventhe involvement ofscientific stakeholders and the general populationin the research process. With this workshop, we aim to introduce members of the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) as well as interestedresearchers from other departments of the University of Zurich to various aspects of open science, to stir the conversation about open science, and to promote a transparent research culture at the UZH.
