Citizen Science Zürich is part of this year's Sustainability Week Zürich with a citizen science workshop! This interactive workshop invites students to share everyday sustainability frustrations and ideas, from ecological issues to social questions.
Participants will collectively map what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change on campus. You’ll then explore Citizen Science as a way of turning lived experience into action by involving the people affected – students, staff, and other campus users – in researching these phenomena and shaping solutions. In small groups, you’ll sketch first project ideas and think about how others on campus could get involved as co-creators.
Institution’s sustainability offices (UZH, ZHAW) will join to give feedback, share insights, and discuss how student-led ideas could connect to real sustainability efforts on campus. Come with your ideas, collaborate and help shape a more sustainable campus together!
We’re joined by Jeannette Behringer from UZH's Sustainability Hub and Milena Eberharter-Fink from ZHAW's Sustainable Impact Program, who will give feedback and help connect your ideas to real sustainability efforts on campus.
