Alessandro Rearte studied Popular Cultures and Critical Urbanisms at the University of Zurich and University of Basel. His focus were field research methods and transdisciplinarity, as well as a science in which the forms of knowledge production are critically questioned. He is diversely socially and politically engaged and is particularly interested in urban studies and participation - that is, the exchange and collaboration between heterogeneous groups along different kinds of power relations. Alessandro joined our team in 2019 and is as Community Manager responsible for connecting, supporting and inspiring Citizen Science enthusiasts in Switzerland.
